Outfit Fav’s from Poppy and Dot

There is a super great online shop that I love. It’s called Poppy and Dot. They have tons of dresses, cute tops and darling booties. I’ve recently got some great additions to my closet from there and I wanted to share.

This is such a great casual outfit. I especially love the layering look with my baby bump.

This is a super fun dress too. And ultra comfy.

The detailing on this dress is gorgeous! Isn’t it a great color for the holidays?

And one of my favorite Poppy and Dot pieces:

This is such a perfect LBD. This would be a great piece for all of those holiday parties.

If you head on over tot their site you can use the code: KYLEEP10 to get 10% off any purchase. Don’t miss out!

Shop B Darling Collaboration

Oh my HEAVENS, I have been so excited to show you all this amazing wallpaper from Shop B Darling It is 100% removable and totally damage free, which I am so excited about. I also love that you could put it in a rental, and take it off when you move! My little girls room is coming along, my entire house was put on hold when I had my last babe (who is now 3.5… yeah… its taken me a minute) But I honestly am the worst at accessorizing in a home… its just not my “knack” so until someone tells me what to put I just have nothing on shelves/walls/etc haha. but this space is coming along great!

Oh and I JUST had my carpets cleaned and look at that fresh spill of who knows what… couldn’t get it out before the photographer came… bleh.

I love this letter board for a reasonable price from Hello letter boards the owner is a friend of mine and they are awesome! It comes with letters, but I did buy the Heidi Swap Gold letters from Hobby lobby. can’t find the link to them sorry!!!

pillow shams and cases are a year old from world market, but I found similar colors here. I get asked about their beds all the time, they are just IKEA Sundvik beds, they go from toddler length to a twin sized.

Rug is from target (I also love this round one!) We got this teepee at From The Avenue for Christmas last year, we LOVE it! The girls spend so much time in here all year!

“Little Ladies Live Here” sign from Jaxon Blvd $40

For real the wallpaper from Shop B Darling just made the entire room, I love it every time I walk in and I love that it can grow and change with the girls!

Love you all!

Kylee

Birthday Weekend in Vegas!

Jeff and I celebrated my 33rd Birthday in Las Vegas, Jeff booked us a suite at the Palazzo/Venetian (I found a deal for way less than what we paid here). We chose that hotel because I really love the food and shopping in that area, and we actually didn’t need our car or uber once! (which is what I love) I love to just chill with no schedule except where we are eating next, and this quick getaway was just that!

This was the view out of my room overlooking the main pool at the palazzo, it was gorgeous at night too! I didn’t know the palazzo was connected to the Venetian and you can go to all the pools when you book a room at either hotel, there are 10 pools to choose from which was nice when it was busy! Also we had resort credit which means you can eat at one of the many restaurants at the canal shoppes using that which was also great! I recommend the Gnocchi Sorrentina from Casanova

Day 1: Shopping + Pool

We checked in thurs afternoon, and I couldn’t wait to do some bday shopping at Zara… we don’t have one in UT so it is a staple when I visit LV! I got this cute watermelon tee and paired it with this skirt (its old, a favorite… and I will cry when it wears out) And of course my most favorite Nike shoe ever from Nordstrom. I used one of my little girls palm print Jujube minibe backpacks the entire trip since I wanted my DSLR camera but didn’t want it around my neck the whole day!

We ended the day at the pool on the 10th floor of the Venetian which stays open till 10. I forget that most LV resort pools close at 6-7 ish… to draw you in to gamble in the casinos. I am so glad the resort had one open. I needed a hot tub soak! And I got to wear my new seafolly one piece that I have been so excited about! (NOTE: This suit runs small, mine is a 10 when I usually wear a 4 or 6) And its great for busty peeps… a petite friend tried it on and said it didn’t work at all because she didn’t fill out the cups.

We were one of the few that were there and it was so relaxing and beautiful. Sculptures, gardens and fountains EVERYWHERE! Jeff had a lovely snooze and I read a book. Win-win.

Day 2: Breakfast+Pool+more shopping=heaven!

This is such a cool area kind of by the lobby, Jeff has stayed in this hotel twice and had no idea there’s and actual canal with singing gondoliers IN the hotel… so funny. We ate the breakfast buffet at grand luxe cafe… It was good, but I don’t feel like I ate enough to have it be worth the $20… again, we had resort credit so it was fine.

The next day we did some more shopping and swimming. I am telling you, we really took this vacation easy. My swim suit is from a new shop called Coconut Palms & Co. You can follow them on Insta here. And these are similar here and here that I mentioned in my post about my Swim 2017 Wishlist.

Here are some products I used at the pool that I love. The tinted lotion was great because I can get coverage from burns, but it also gives a little bit of color. I love Rapunzel of Sweden and I tried out their new leave-in conditioner to protect my hair from the chlorine. Loved it!

I did a little shopping spree and got two outfits I was loving. There are so many options in Vegas for shopping, it really was one of the big draws for a vacation there. So here is my second outfit from my spree.

It was such an awesome trip to have getaway for the weekend. I was still able to make it back by mother’s day and enjoy the day with my kids. I definitely had a great time at the Palazzo/Venitian and would recommend it especially if you are going to LV for some fun shopping.

CALIFORNIA 2017 TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

First Highlight of our trip: Jujube #JUJUBEACH

We just got back from jujubes 2nd annual Jujubeach party! to release their latest print and partnership with Tula (baby carriers) and it was AHH-MAZING. The latest print “rosy posy” is the prettiest floral, (more pic to come on that later) Everyone should know that you do NOT ever miss Jujube party, they do it right! From the food down to the swag bags, and custom floral crowns, they don’t miss a detail! My Bro and his wife came down to Laguna from LA to spend the weekend with my family, and we are so glad they did! I am pretty sure one of my kids would have drowned without them there to keep tabs on my daring little girls… They are a tad too brave for this mama.

First pic we took when we walked into Jujube’s party at the private beach in Laguna! my Bro and wife Witney Carson joined us, and thanks to Wit and her celeb status from “ABC’s Dancing with the stars” this was featured in a few tabloids… LOL thanks Wit;) When we walked in we were greeted with food and handmade floral crowns from The Crown Collective and My girls were in heaven. Floral crowns are just an obsession of every girl I think.

Love the blue flower in Brightons crown!

I know, I have a 2000’s swoop bang thing going on but this was the best I could get outta the girls

Handsome hubby enjoyed the food and this pic. (he hates pics, like most husbands) I, like most wives do, forced him to look happy about this one. He is learning:)

Loving my girls new swim from rad swim! I got a matching one, but Its white and I didn’t want sand in mine. Now I wish I would have just worn it!

These were taken as she was seeing her floral crow in the mirror for the first time! Her dimples kill me. Only kid or grandkid yet that got my daddy’s dimples!

And Hal my ginger beauty! I am obsessed with her hair color!

My swim is from Kingdom and State, and its quickly become a favorite this year! so comfy and flattering on every figure!

Yes Ty was with us, but I couldn’t get him outta the ocean for long enough for a pic so this is what we got from him. Men/boys +photos=nonexistent….

these two divas… actually make that 3 divas.

These little surfboards are so fun! you throw them out into the waves and they “surf” back to you! so fun and came in our jujube swag bag!

2. Disneyland

First and foremost, we were so excited to make our own custom Disney shirts with my Cricut explore air 2! I have another post about my Cricut here. I used their Iron on transfer paper and man was it a fun and easy project! I was able to finish all 6 shirts from design to finish in one night! and how cute is the glitter iron on! quit tip: make sure and pre-wash your shirt without fabric softener, I didn’t wash 2 of them and the letters started peeling up a bit, but the other 4 I washed first have been great, rewashed and still look good! Lesson learned to follow the instructions on the package;)

When you have a cricut you are able to use the software to customize the designs you want. This made our shirts super easy to do. Like I mentioned before, I was able to do all the shirts in one night.

And we made it!  We had a great time at Disney with the kids and our cute shirts. (Note Landree and Brighty have writing on their arms with my phone number in case they got lost. Luckily they never got lost.)

3. Huntington Beach

We also had a fabulous bike ride around Huntington Beach. I have a friend there who let us take her bikes around. The weather was gorgeous!

Our whole trip was busy and really fun. Do you have favorite things to do in California or Anaheim? Always looking for great suggestions, so feel free to share any.

I wish I could buy all of these swims this year, but unfortunately I am too practical. I usually buy 1 maybe 2 quality swims a year, and then if I want others I then head to Target or Forever 21 for some less expensive options!

Friday Favorites: That Hair Though

Happy Friday! I want to start doing a regular fashion post every week on Fridays. I love the relaxed look in preparation for the weekend, especially when I can easily match with my girls. Plus, its a bonus that I can keep the matching going with our Ju-Ju-Be bags.

And of course they had to do their fashion walk

Stoller Essentials

I teamed up with UPPAbaby to share with you the essentials I include with my stroller.

0-11

I know it looks freezing here in Utah. It was. But my girls loved our outing.

With two toddlers, I wouldn’t get anywhere without a stroller. It becomes a mandatory part of traveling, even in the cold. So I wanted to share my survival tips.

0-21

An absolute must: these Pookie Ponchos from 7AM Enfant.

0-5

These ponchos are the perfect stroller solution on cold days. With two toddlers, there would be a lot of complaining if we didn’t have these cute ponchos to keep them warm.

0-10

One of the things I love about the ponchos is that they have a detachable top. If it was really cold, I would be able to use the ponchos to cover my girls’ heads. We weren’t too cold today, so they were fine without it.

0-25

Another must: Ju-Ju-Be bag.

If you have been following me on Instagram, you probably know how much I love Ju-Ju-Be. Isn’t this bag adorable?

0-19

It makes life so much easier that I can put the bag over two shoulders so I don’t feel off balance while pushing the stroller.

0-22

My last tip is to not let the weather keep you from being outdoors. There are some really reasonable things you can do to make your stroller experience so much better.

It’s spring here in Utah but still a tadchilly…Check out these cute Pookie Ponchos by 7AM Enfant.  they are so easy to attach to any stroller, stay put, and their feel are totally covered (like mini sleeping bag).  My girls and I love them!

I’m also loving this super comfy floral raglan shirt from Brickyard Buffalo.
