“There’s Certainly a Santa” with Hallie & our Date to Dear Lizzie

So, Hallie has been asking all the Santa questions and I was hoping to get just one more year out of her believing in Santa, but she knows about the “insert swearword” elf on the shelf, (heres the link, if for some reason you want to torture yourself by getting one…lol) But back to the point, She was asking all the questions and I wanted to make it not so disappointing somehow…

Then I came across this amazing book, “There’s certainly a Santa,” which was written by my cute and clever friend Chelsea Rippy. So, I told her I had a secret to share and I was taking her on a date. We hit up a favorite girly girl spot (Dear Lizzie) for a treat, we love the “dizzy lizzie” drinks, and their desserts…ahem…coconut macarons for the pregnant lady. I gave Hal the book, she wanted to read it herself. I was so nervous… But all in all it went well! (see short clip of her reading the book below) She was obviously disappointed but she said she kinda knew last year, and she’s glad to know the “Super Top Secret” and is excited to be Santa for someone this year!

Then we shopped and enjoyed all the cute trinkets in the store and just had a nice time chatting and making sure she was okay with the new info! She loved the experience and I will do the same for Ty… in a year or two. He’s 9 and still wholeheartedly believes! Its so sad when kids grow up, but this book made the magic of Christmas stay and now Hallie gets to be a part of it!

Get 15% off “Theres Certainly A Santa” here, and make breaking the news a little easier on your mama heart! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Outfit Fav’s from Poppy and Dot

There is a super great online shop that I love. It’s called Poppy and Dot. They have tons of dresses, cute tops and darling booties. I’ve recently got some great additions to my closet from there and I wanted to share.

This is such a great casual outfit. I especially love the layering look with my baby bump.

This is a super fun dress too. And ultra comfy.

The detailing on this dress is gorgeous! Isn’t it a great color for the holidays?

And one of my favorite Poppy and Dot pieces:

This is such a perfect LBD. This would be a great piece for all of those holiday parties.

If you head on over tot their site you can use the code: KYLEEP10 to get 10% off any purchase. Don’t miss out!

Shop B Darling Collaboration

Oh my HEAVENS, I have been so excited to show you all this amazing wallpaper from Shop B Darling It is 100% removable and totally damage free, which I am so excited about. I also love that you could put it in a rental, and take it off when you move! My little girls room is coming along, my entire house was put on hold when I had my last babe (who is now 3.5… yeah… its taken me a minute) But I honestly am the worst at accessorizing in a home… its just not my “knack” so until someone tells me what to put I just have nothing on shelves/walls/etc haha. but this space is coming along great!

Oh and I JUST had my carpets cleaned and look at that fresh spill of who knows what… couldn’t get it out before the photographer came… bleh.

I love this letter board for a reasonable price from Hello letter boards the owner is a friend of mine and they are awesome! It comes with letters, but I did buy the Heidi Swap Gold letters from Hobby lobby. can’t find the link to them sorry!!!

pillow shams and cases are a year old from world market, but I found similar colors here. I get asked about their beds all the time, they are just IKEA Sundvik beds, they go from toddler length to a twin sized.

Rug is from target (I also love this round one!) We got this teepee at From The Avenue for Christmas last year, we LOVE it! The girls spend so much time in here all year!

“Little Ladies Live Here” sign from Jaxon Blvd $40

For real the wallpaper from Shop B Darling just made the entire room, I love it every time I walk in and I love that it can grow and change with the girls!

Love you all!

Boy Baby Shower

I wanted to do two posts, one for the girl and one for the boy shower. So here is everything from the boy shower. I hosted this one at my house.

By the way, if you are eyeing my wallpaper, it is from Brewster Home Wallpaper.

Guys, Zurcher’s really knows where its at. They always have such good party supplies, and they did not disappoint for this shower. I got my banners, flags, and pom poms there. How do you think it turned out? I was really happy with the end result (although I gotta say sorry about the lighting, all of our windows are west facing, so the lighting isn’t the best). Doing showers for boys can be a little bit more intimidating for girls because sometimes they don’t have the same products for boys as girls, so I was happy with the options Zurcher’s had. I actually took the white from this shower and was able to reuse it for the girl shower.

Girl Baby Shower

I threw two baby showers a few weeks ago. I thought the end result was awesome! This was the first shower for the little girl who is coming to town.

We got the white and pink balloons from Zurchers. I tied them onto a long piece of twine with string, and it was super easy and made such a fun look! And the darling letterboard is from Hello Letter Boards and you can check them out here on insta. The gold letters came from Heidi Swapp. Darling gold sign also from  Zurchers. Thanks to Zurchers for the party decorations! And I have to give a huge shout-out to my sister Cass made the adorable cake and my mom who did the equally cute diaper cake.

This was the girl shower, and stay tuned for the boy shower! Coming up next.

Front Porch Fall Makeover

You might have seen on my insta, but here is my front porch.

My amazing friend Shalana from Robinson Cottage Collection came to help me out. Go check her blog out. She is seriously amazing and she worked all of her magic right on my front porch.

Before & after!!! I asked my dear, talented friends @shalanarobinson & @gentryrobinsonfilms from @robinsoncottagecollection to help me with my porch… they just came over (took over bc I am pregnant and lame) and worked their magic! I literally cannot take credit for one thing on my amazing porch and I’m OK with it! Head to their blog ! Love you gals! @robinsoncottagecollection

The process was super amazing. We wanted to start with a lot of materials so we had a lot to choose from. My car was bulging.

We had branches all over the inside of the car and then had to strap them to the top of the car.

Shalana put some nails all over to get the branches up everywhere.

They took burlap straight from the barn and wrapped it around the chair cushions. So ingenious!

All of the little details turned out so incredible to make the whole things look so great!

Shalana and Gentry, you two are miracle workers! <3 xoxo.

Gender Reveal!

Hey guys! If you are following me over on Instagram, you probably saw that we have some exciting news! We are expecting our 5th baby in March!

I have three girls and one boy, so I reeeeaaally wanted to add another boy to the mix. Guess what we are having?

We are having a GIRL! I guess we are meant to be a family with LOTS of estrogen.

We tried something new this pregnancy, I used a test called Sneak Peak Test. You guys! This is so cool! It is an at home test that you use that predicts gender. You can do it at 9 weeks, so you don’t have to wait as long as an ultrasound. It was super easy and the results came back so fast, I would totally recommend it.

You take the test and mail it back and then they email you the results. I was able to find out in 24 hours! It was really convenient and so nice to know the gender so early on in the pregnancy.

And I am still in need of baby products that you guys recommend. Anything you can’t live without? Put it in the comments below!

Ballet Blast With Bree Johnson

This is my friend, Brianne, from Ballet Blast. If you haven’t heard about Ballet Blast, let me introduce you to your new favorite fitness program. Bree wanted to develop something that would empower woman with a community of support rather than a gym.

We have been friends forever and she was willing to give me a few lessons. She is awesome and was one of the hosts on Good Things Utah for a while. She’s incredibly talented and her Ballet Blast is just one more example of her incredible skill.

One of the most unique things about Ballet Bar is they don’t expect you to come into the studio every day. Instead, you can work out over Facebook live or on demand with the recorded videos.

One of the awesome things about the focus at Ballet Bar is they focus on long and lean rather than adding bulk. All of the program is focused on long and lean Focusing on toning your body through ballet ensures that you will not add bulk to your physique.

Okay, we had a little extra fun after we worked out.

I know I make this look easy… 😉 but Bree really knows how to make you burn! If you’re interested in joining, check out more here. If you want to know more about Ballet Blast, you can check out Bree’s Insta or email

And thanks to Camera Shy for the pictures!

Birthday Weekend in Vegas!

Jeff and I celebrated my 33rd Birthday in Las Vegas, Jeff booked us a suite at the Palazzo/Venetian (I found a deal for way less than what we paid here). We chose that hotel because I really love the food and shopping in that area, and we actually didn’t need our car or uber once! (which is what I love) I love to just chill with no schedule except where we are eating next, and this quick getaway was just that!

This was the view out of my room overlooking the main pool at the palazzo, it was gorgeous at night too! I didn’t know the palazzo was connected to the Venetian and you can go to all the pools when you book a room at either hotel, there are 10 pools to choose from which was nice when it was busy! Also we had resort credit which means you can eat at one of the many restaurants at the canal shoppes using that which was also great! I recommend the Gnocchi Sorrentina from Casanova

Day 1: Shopping + Pool

We checked in thurs afternoon, and I couldn’t wait to do some bday shopping at Zara… we don’t have one in UT so it is a staple when I visit LV! I got this cute watermelon tee and paired it with this skirt (its old, a favorite… and I will cry when it wears out) And of course my most favorite Nike shoe ever from Nordstrom. I used one of my little girls palm print Jujube minibe backpacks the entire trip since I wanted my DSLR camera but didn’t want it around my neck the whole day!

We ended the day at the pool on the 10th floor of the Venetian which stays open till 10. I forget that most LV resort pools close at 6-7 ish… to draw you in to gamble in the casinos. I am so glad the resort had one open. I needed a hot tub soak! And I got to wear my new seafolly one piece that I have been so excited about! (NOTE: This suit runs small, mine is a 10 when I usually wear a 4 or 6) And its great for busty peeps… a petite friend tried it on and said it didn’t work at all because she didn’t fill out the cups.

We were one of the few that were there and it was so relaxing and beautiful. Sculptures, gardens and fountains EVERYWHERE! Jeff had a lovely snooze and I read a book. Win-win.

Day 2: Breakfast+Pool+more shopping=heaven!

This is such a cool area kind of by the lobby, Jeff has stayed in this hotel twice and had no idea there’s and actual canal with singing gondoliers IN the hotel… so funny. We ate the breakfast buffet at grand luxe cafe… It was good, but I don’t feel like I ate enough to have it be worth the $20… again, we had resort credit so it was fine.

The next day we did some more shopping and swimming. I am telling you, we really took this vacation easy. My swim suit is from a new shop called Coconut Palms & Co. You can follow them on Insta here. And these are similar here and here that I mentioned in my post about my Swim 2017 Wishlist.

Here are some products I used at the pool that I love. The tinted lotion was great because I can get coverage from burns, but it also gives a little bit of color. I love Rapunzel of Sweden and I tried out their new leave-in conditioner to protect my hair from the chlorine. Loved it!

I did a little shopping spree and got two outfits I was loving. There are so many options in Vegas for shopping, it really was one of the big draws for a vacation there. So here is my second outfit from my spree.

It was such an awesome trip to have getaway for the weekend. I was still able to make it back by mother’s day and enjoy the day with my kids. I definitely had a great time at the Palazzo/Venitian and would recommend it especially if you are going to LV for some fun shopping.
